African Blackwood x Lime Green Acrylic

This is an African Blackwood barrel with a lime green acrylic insert. The wood/acrylic combo really makes a realistic sounding call. The wood barrel creates those natural raspy tones you expect from a wood call, which pairs well with the fast and effective performance of the acrylic insert that is so popular. This call is tuned with my custom toneboard that is extremely versatile, with great bottom end rasp, but plenty of volume to reach out to those higher birds or in rough conditions. This is a single reed but most calls can be changed to a double reeds on request.
